{Resolved} Grid and Website maintenance work

Both the grid and website will be offline this evening for short periods of time due to unscheduled maintenance work. We do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Update: All regions are back online, however we will be working more on the regions over the next 24-48 hours. Further updates will be available shortly before any expected down time of the grid.

Haven Grid online

As some of you may be aware we have been working on the grid this weekend and making changes to the servers.

All the grid is now back online and log in enabled, if you do have any issues logging in please compete the following:

Step 1 – Press Windows and R on the keyboard – type cmd and click OK. – a black screen will appear – type in “ipconfig /flushdns” and press enter – you will get a success message – type exit – click enter.

Step 2 – Open you viewer which you use to access Haven Your World. Then go to grid manager. Ensure your URL for Haven is showing as: http://grid.havenyourworld.com:8002/ and click refresh grid URL.

If this does not work you can refresh the grid details by removing the grid in your preferences section of your viewer, then re-adding the grid. Full instructions on how to add the grid can be found here:

Server changes

At present we are experience intermittent downtime on our host servers. We have investigated the cause which has lead us back to our host company but at the moment we are not receiving the service we would expect or need.

We have therefore started negotiations with a new hosting company and we are looking at transferring over this weekend. We are hoping all backups and transfer of data will be completed by Monday the 8th of August.

This does mean over the next few days we could experience some downtime on the grid but we are hoping to keep these to a minimum and have the grid running as much as possible until these issues are resolved.

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time and we would like to assure you we are working hard to fix these issues.

(Complete) Grid Maintenance and Improvements

We are currently working on implementing new back-up systems for the grid, mainly surrounding automatic daily back-up of all databases. Due to this some regions maybe offline for short periods of time.

Unscheduled Rolling Restarts – Complete

All region restarts have now been completed.

As always if you do experiences any issues please log into your account at www.havenyourworld.com and navigate to Support > Ticket Support and raise a ticket. One of our support staff will then contact you as soon as possible to resolve any issues you many be experiencing.
